
Jacqueline (Jackie) Antoinette Dobrovolny, 77, of Bryan, passed away Friday, February 13, 2026. Visitation will be held at Memorial Funeral Chapel, Bryan, TX, Thursday, February19th from 5 to 7 PM. A private family graveside service will be held at Smetana Cemetery.
Jacqueline was born in Bryan, January 14th, 1949, to the late Antone N. and Mary Niederkorn Dobrovolny. She graduated from Stephen F. Austin High School and later attended Texas A&M University. During her career she held various administrative roles within county government, including positions with the Justice of the Peace, County Clerk, and Community Supervision & Corrections. Jackie also enjoyed attending the Brazos Valley Cowboy Church.
She loved the outdoors, old Willie Nelson tunes, and her little terrier and constant companion, Little Bit. Whether she was working in her garden, out mowing the yard or baking her strudel and award-winning kolaches, she did everything with a bright and unforgettable energy. Above everything else, Jackie was a loving and devoted protector of her family, especially her children and grandchildren. She was deeply loved, and she will be forever missed.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and brother, Frank Dobrovolny.
She is survived by her children, William (Becky), Lance, and Kimberly (Brent); grandchildren, Madison, Taylor (Stone), Jewelia, and Zoey; great-grandchildren, Paxtyn, Bristyl, Paislee, and Parklyn; brother, Antone Dobrovolny Jr. (Kay); sisters-in-law, Linda Dobrovolny and Janet Dobrovolny; extended family and numerous friends; and her loyal terrier, Little Bit.
