Joyce Nemec

Joyce Webb Nemec, 88, of Bryan, passed away Wednesday, September 1, 2010 at Sherwood Nursing and Rehab Center. Visitation is scheduled for 9 a.m. Friday, September 3 at Memorial Funeral Chapel, followed by a rosary and funeral service starting at 11 a.m. The Reverend Monsignor John McCaffrey will be officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemeteryin Bryan, Texas. Joyce was born January 5, 1922 in Cookeville, Tenn. She enjoyed crocheting, sewing, and cooking in her spare time. She also loved spending time with her grandchildren and

great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her loving husband of 30 years, Frank J. Nemec; stepsons, Frankie Nemec, Jr. and Stanley Nemec; sisters, Mary Waller and Sibyl Andrews. Survivors include her brother, Eugene Webb of California; stepdaughter, Rosemary Gesford of Tyler, Texas; nine step-grandchildren and 12 step-great-grandchildren.
