Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Friday January 9 at Bryan United Pentecostal Church. Interment will follow at Peach Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5- 8 p.m. Thursday at Memorial Funeral Chapel in Bryan.
Juanita was born October 18, 1931 in Harris County the daughter of Thomas David and Minnie Mae (Jericho) Carey. She was a longtime member of Bryan United Pentecostal Church.
Juanita is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Rev. Edgar R. Jones; daughter, Glenda Brown and four brothers.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Billy W. and Mary Jane Jones of Ft. Worth; daughters, Lora Gatlin of Bryan and Amanda Archer of Brenham; sisters, Ruby Joy of Roosevelt, Mary Martin of Bryan, brother, Lonnie Carey of Bryan half-sister, Shirley Rogers of Rockdale and half-brother, Ben Carey of Pasadena; seven grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
