Lynda Ruth Petty

Funeral service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Friday, March 8 at Memorial Funeral Chapel in Bryan. Interment will follow at Plainview Cemetery near Normangee. Visitation will be from 5:30 – 8:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Lynda was born April 30, 1947 in Bryan the daughter of Lowell David and Gladys Marie (Richards) McCollum. She was a Godly woman who loved playing piano for church. Always kind and loving, her family especially her grandchildren was her world.

Lynda is preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Kenneth Petty; sons and daughter-in-law, Jason and Nicole Petty, and David Petty; grandchildren, Ava Petty, Anthony Petty and Presley Petty; uncle, Buddy Richards; and Ava's mother, Koren Lopez.
