Mario Ibarra Vasquez

Visitation will be from 6-9 p.m. Tuesday November 18 with a rosary service at 7:00 p.m. at Memorial Funeral Chapel in Bryan.

Mario was born October 19, 1942 in Mexico the son of Alberto Sr. and Mercedes (Ibarra) Vasquez. He retired after many years of service from the City of Bryan in the Maintenance Department. Mario liked to cook barbeque, play dominos, and just be around family and friends. He was a loving Husband, Father, Brother and Grandfather.

Mario is preceded in death by his parents, Alberto Sr. and Mercedes; brothers, Jorge and Baldemar Vasquez; and his step-sons, Ruben Gomez and Alonzo Herrera.

He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Mary Vasquez; children, Rose Reyes and husband Joe, Rita Gomez and Robert Rodriquez, Elaine Villarreal and husband Rafael, Hector Vasquez and Leticia Vasquez Sauceda; brothers and sister-in-law, Alberto Jr. and Blanca Vasquez, and Jose Vasquez; sisters and brothers-in-law, Hermila and Luis Bustamante, Rosa and Guillermo Rivera, Celia Vasquez, Natalia and Carlos De La Cruz, and Irma Vasquez; grandchildren, Emilio Sauceda, Eliano Sauceda, Hector Vasquez Jr., Alisa Vasquez and numerous other grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
