Marva Doris Pitts

Born in Crisp (Ellis County), Texas on November 18, 1935, Marva was the daughter of Walter Bass and Esther Faye (Wheatley) McLemore. Marva married Glyn Pitts and they were married for 49 years, before Glyn passed in 2004. Both Glyn and Marva were active in the Twin City Church of Christ in College Station. Marva was employed with Guaranty Bank for over 20 years in their new accounts department.

She is also preceded in death by her parents and by her sister, Latrelle Hall

Marva is survived by two sons, Barry Pits and Jerry Pitts; along with other loving relatives and many friends.

Visitation for Mrs. Pitts will be between 5:00 pm and 7:00 pm, Monday, July 10, 2023 at the Memorial Funeral Chapel in Bryan. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am, Tuesday, July 11, 2023 at the Chapel of Memorial Funeral Chapel. Interment will follow at Bryan City Cemetery.
