Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Monday August 11 at Memorial Funeral Chapel in Bryan. Interment will follow at Bryan City Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Oscar was born February 16, 1918 in Weldon, the son of Oscar Sr. and Minnie (Crowson) Moffatt. Oscar proudly served our country during WWII in the Army Air Corps. He was a member of the Bryan Carpenters Union and former member of New Life Tabernacle Church in Bryan.
Oscar is preceded in death by his parents; and his wife, Bessie Moffatt.
He is survived by his sons and daughters-in-law, Ronny and Francis Moffatt of Waco, Nathan and Darlene Moffatt of College Station; sister, Dorothy Glover of Plano; grandchildren, Chris Moffatt and wife Debbie, Natalie Hughes and husband Wesley, and Kimberly Hinton; great-grandchildren, Logan Moffatt, Demi Moffatt, Christiana Hughes and Taylor Hinton; niece, Nita Barrett.
