

Graveside service will be held at 1:00 pm Saturday, October 23, 2021, at Shiloh Cemetery in Robertson County.
Otis was born December 27, 1932, in the Macey Community, the son of George Washington and Leila (Martin) McDonald. He proudly served our country in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War. Otis was a member of the American Legion Earl Graham Post 159 and Brazos Union Masonic Lodge No. 129. He took great pride in his military service as well as being a Mason. Otis owned and operated McDonald Business Machines, a thriving business in Bryan/College Station for over 50 years. When able, he attended the Cowboy Church of Leon County.
Otis is preceded in death by his parents; brothers and sister; and his son, Otis L. “Bubba” McDonald Jr.
He is survived by his daughters, Arneé McDonald Papp and husband Chuck, Anette McDonald Loftin and husband Tuffy; nephew, Sam McDonald and wife Regina; grandchildren, Clayton Glen Loftin and wife Hailey, Bay Loftin Ruffin and husband Mark, Claire Papp Chilcoat and husband Coby, and Claudia Papp; great-grandchildren, Tucker, Rhett, Nash, Rollie, Lila, Alice, Riggs, Millie and numerous other relatives and close friends.
The family is very appreciative of the personal, loving care that Otis received from the staff of Bluebonnet Place for the past four years.
