Graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday at College Station Cemetery.
Rachel was born August 15, 1923 in Amarillo the daughter of H.D. and Helen (Sullivan) Patterson. She was an active member of First Baptist Church in College Station.
Rachel is preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Lewis Fields.
She is survived by her children, Linda Fields Hargus and husband Stan of Seattle, WA. and Frank Lewis Fields and wife Betty of College Station; grandchildren, Kara Grant of Kerrville, Kevin Grant of Charleston, SC, Aaron Grant of Asheville, NC, and Mason Fields of San Marcos.
