Rebecca Loraine Franklin

Rebecca Loraine Franklin passed away unexpectedly on January 12, 2025, at the age of 29. Rebecca truly knew that it was more blessed to give than receive. Her love and generosity knew no bounds. She was generous not only in life but also in death as an organ and skin donor. Rebecca was a beautiful soul who would help anyone. Her radiant and vibrant smile lit up any room she entered. She enjoyed going to the beach, dancing, traveling, singing, and living her life each day to the fullest. She especially loved spending time with her amazing son Hunter, family, friends, and her beloved dogs Princeton, Quan Yin, Patron, and Penny.

She is preceded in death by her beloved father Michael Franklin I, grandmother Loraine Franklin, grandfather Milton Franklin Sr., grandmother Patricia Wiles, and aunt Rebecka McWhorter.

Rebecca is survived by her son Hunter Franklin Welch, mother Katrina Franklin, grandfather Wesley Kolster II, and grandmother Alicia Franklin; siblings Thai-Anthony Pointer and spouse April Pointer, Michael Franklin II and spouse Amanda Franklin; uncle Milton (Paul) Franklin Jr. and spouse Crystal Franklin and aunt Tracey Stone and spouse David Stone as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, god-children, god-siblings and many special friends impacted by her time and love. Even though Rebecca is gone from this world, she will live forever in our hearts.

A visitation for Rebecca will be held Saturday, February 1, 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Memorial Funeral Chapel in Bryan with a funeral service following at 2:00 PM. A burial will follow at 3:30 PM at Bryan City Cemetery (New Edition), 1704 N Washington Ave, Bryan, TX 77803.

In lieu of flowers the family asks for donations be made to Memorial Funeral Chapel in Bryan to help with funeral expenses.
