Richard Rosser

Richard Ratcliff Rosser, 64, of Bryan, passed away May 5, 2012 at St. Joseph Regional Health Center. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, May 9 at Memorial Funeral Chapel in Bryan. A memorial service will be held 10 a.m. Thursday, May 10 at the funeral home.

Richard was born February 15, 1948 in Laffayette, LA to Erskine and Marguarite Rosser. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and wood crafting. But, above all else he enjoyed spending time with his family. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and will be missed by numerous family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents; father-in-law W.B. Stub Davis.

Survivors include his wife of 42 years, Jan Rosser of Bryan; son Ric and wife Becky Rosser of Katy; daughter Stacy and husband Michael Smith of Marquez; grandsons Dalton and Drake Rosser of Katy, Ty Smith of Marquez; brother Robert and wife Marian of Lafayette; nieces Robin Martinez and family, Meg Cornell and family; nephews Bobby Rosser and family, Randy Rosser and family; mother-in-law Olamae Davis of Bryan; brothers-in-law Warren Davis and family, Mack Davis and family.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Richard Morgan for over 20 years of care, Dr. R. Gutierrez, the staff at Davita Dialysis Center University drive and all of the many wonderful friends that have travelled this journey with us. You all have truly been a blessing.
