Ronald Lesher

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 am Saturday, April 22, 2023 at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 – 7 pm with a 7:00 pm rosary on Friday April 21 at Memorial Funeral Chapel in Bryan.

Ronald was born April 16, 1936 in San Diego, CA. the son of Benjamin Richard Sr. and Pearl Mae (Boyles) Lesher. He proudly served our country in the U.S. Marine Corps, then re-enlisting in the U.S. Army. Ronald retired from the Physical Plant at Texas A&M University after 23 years of service. He was long time member of St. Anthony’s Catholic Church and the Franciscan Associates. He loved hunting and fishing.

Ronald is preceded in death by his parents; and three brothers, Benjamin Jr, Woody and Robert Lesher and one sister, Pearl Mae Brierton.

He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Sally Ann Lesher; children, Steven Lesher, Philip Lesher, Roxanne Hughes and husband Rendell, Aaron Lesher, Suzanne Baker and husband Rickey; grandchildren, Kimberly Lesher, Christina Schmaltz, Courtney Spies , Andrew Lesher, Matthew Walston, Megan Veselka, Kenneth Hughes, and several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Passionate Patient Care, to Traditions Health/Hospice and to Cathy Martinez his neighbor for the love and care they gave to Ronald.
