Ruby Margaret Robinson, 80, of Bryan, passed away Tuesday, November 1, 2011. Visitation is scheduled from 7 to 10 p.m. Thursday, November 3, at Memorial Funeral Chapel in Bryan. A graveside service is scheduled for 11 a.m. Friday November 4 at Kurten Cemetery.
Ruby was born December 17, 1930 in Chattaroy, WV to Tincie and Haze Robinson. She was a longtime seamstress and dedicated her life to her family and Bible.
She is preceded in death by her parents; brother, Huard Walker Robinson; and granddaughter Melissa Garrett.
Survivors include her children Gary Garrett, Jyles and wife Barbara Garrett, Sallie and husband Frank Bettencourt, Paul and wife Frances Garrett all of Bryan, and Alesia and husband Harold Hammock of League City; 17 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren; sisters Hazel Mitchell of Virginia Beach, VA, Rita Eubanks of Huntington, WV, and Etta Fitch of Columbus, OH.
