Franklin is survived by his wife, Annalisa Olmstead Young; children, Colleen Young Sumrall, Daryl L. Young (Joanne), Pamela Cernick (Tom Evans) Franklin J. Young Jr. (Jeno); twelve grandchildren; twenty two great grandchildren; ten great-great grandchildren; sister, Gladys Mackey Jameson and many cousins, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, John A. Young; sister, Helen A. Young Spicer and Stepfather, Raymond R. Mackey.
Franklin retired from the United States Navy, Coast Guard and in Snohomish County, Washington Deputy Sheriff. He was loved by many and will be missed by all who knew him.
