Born on September 20, 1940, Gerald was a man of unwavering integrity, deep compassion, and quiet strength. He touched the lives of all who knew him with his kind spirit, steady wisdom, and genuine warmth.
Gerald dedicated his life to his family and community. He was a devoted husband, loving father, proud grandfather and great grandfather, and loyal friend. His legacy is reflected in the values he instilled, the lives he helped shape, and the countless memories shared by those who loved him.
He is survived by his daughters Tina Shaw, Tracy Fairchild and Vickie Armstrong, his grandchildren Beth Hedrick, Robert Morrison, and Vera Kernes, and great grandchildren Luciana Dennis, Mianna Weeda, Ryder Morrison and Amelia Hedrick. He was preceded in death by his wife Carol Fairchild, son Steven Weeda and granddaughter Tonja Weeda.
Though he may no longer walk beside us, Gerald’s love, laughter, and legacy will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
