Eulogy from Mike Randall
Dad died on February 21, 2025, in Bullhead City Arizona having moved there from Thornton Colorado with Sandra Turner in 1999. Dad was many things to many people, son, brother, uncle, husband, dad, fireman....
To me, Dad was a hero, my hero. I won't go into all he taught me or helped others with during his time on this Earth. Suffice to say he lived for others, for his family, for those he didn't know. Dad gave and showed love to those he was around.
You see, dad was a fireman, on the job and off he gave of himself throughout life. Dad showed us how to live for others, for God; giving of himself, teaching, sharing, showing and living. We/I will miss him.
Ephesians 2:8-9 NLT
[8] God saved you by his grace when you believed. And you can’t take credit for this; it is a gift from God. [9] Salvation is not a reward for the good things we have done, so none of us can boast about it.
Romans 8:28 NLT
[28] And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them.
Psalm 23:1 KJV
[1] The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.... (Shall not have need of anything because the Lord provides all our needs)
2 Peter 3:8-9 NLT
[8] But you must not forget this one thing, dear friends: A day is like a thousand years to the Lord, and a thousand years is like a day. [9] The Lord isn’t really being slow about his promise, as some people think. No, he is being patient for your sake. He does not want anyone to be destroyed, but wants everyone to repent.
