March 1, 1949 – March 2, 2026
Wayne Garbiso, 77, passed away peacefully on March 2, 2026, just one day after celebrating his 77th birthday.
Wayne proudly served in the United States Army, carrying with him a strong sense of duty, resilience, and quiet strength throughout his life. He lived much of his life as a bit of a gypsy — traveling often, moving where life led him, and embracing the freedom of the open road. Eventually, he found his place and settled in Arizona, where he planted roots and made lasting memories.
A man who worked with his hands and his heart, woodworking was one of Wayne’s greatest passions. He found peace and purpose in crafting pieces that reflected both his skill and patience. Through his work, he left behind not only beautiful creations, but lasting memories for those who received them.
Above all, Wayne was a devoted father and grandfather. He is lovingly survived by his children, Ann Marie Garbiso, Jennifer Lang, and Steven Garbiso; and his cherished granddaughters, Alyssa Wheaton and Alexis Garbiso. His family was his pride and greatest accomplishment.
Wayne will be remembered for his steady presence, adventurous spirit, craftsmanship, and the love he gave so freely to his family. His legacy lives on in the hands he taught, the stories he shared, and the family who will carry his memory forward.
He will be deeply missed and forever loved.
