Delbert G. Davis

Delbert George Davis passed away Sunday February 2, 2014 at age 71. He was born on June 9, 1942 in Lawton, Oklahoma. He was the Son of Verleen and George Clarence Davis. The family moved to Modesto, California where Delbert was a star athlete in Junior and senior high school in the 50’s and 60’s.

Later Delbert moved to the Los Angeles area where he met the love of his life, Madeleine Babcock. They married not long after and raised 3 sons. Delbert or “Big D” worked for the Universal Studios for 30 plus years. Delbert was a happy go lucky guy who lived life to the fullest. Delbert was a loving husband, father and uncle and is survived by his loving wife Madeleine along with sons Tony, Jerry and Mike along with his brother and sister in law Larry Don (Carol) Davis, sister in law and brother in law Margaret (Ed) Reese and brother in law Charles Babcock. He is also survived by his aunts, uncles and many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death is Delbert's sister, Linda Deanne Hughbanks.
