Eugene A. Bollman was born in Elizabeth, New Jersey and spent his childhood in Minneapolis Minnesota where he graduated high school. He moved to California in his early twenties and lived there most of his life, with the exception of moving to Cokato, MN two times. In his formative years he enjoyed speed skating, body building, road biking and fishing in the canoe.
He worked as a union Lather in the construction industry for 39 years until retirement. He was a veteran of the Korean War and served overseas active duty from 1950 to 1952, then on reserve until June 1956. In recent years he developed a passion for Roman history and restoring a 1956 Ford F-100 pick up truck. He is survived by his four sons: Erik, Kurt, Blade, and Justin.
A Memorial Service to be held on September 16, 2016 at Riverside National Cemetery 22495 Van Buren Boulevard, Riverside, CA 92518. Service will be 30 minutes, then a simple gathering afterward. (Gathering location to be determined)
