Jimmy went to be with the Lord October 14, 2013, after a one-year battle with cancer. He was born April 29, 1956 in North Hollywood, California to James and Marilyn Hansen. His travels took him to many places, from California to Sandwich, massachusetts, where he worked in construction and was a painter for over 30 years. He was very patriotic, loved his country, and was a Civil War historian.
He was a deputy sheriff for the Plymouth County Sheriff's Department in Massachusetts.
Jim served as Squadron Commander for the Sons of the American Legion, Sunland-Tijunga Post #377.
He loved his family, his one and only true soulamate, and his many friends. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and the outdoors.
Jimmy is survived by his loving mother, Marilyn, and his siblings.
Interment will be at Forest Lawn Glendale, Friday, October 18, 2013 at 9:30.
