Katherine "Kitty" Snyder, 85

passed away peacefully at

Santa Anita Convalesant

October 10, 2012

She was born in Greensburg, Pa

January 11, 1927. Married

Elmer Snyder, January 29,

1949 and were married 62

years till his passing on

January 27, 2011. Worked in

Pittsburg Rubber Works

Factory. Moved to California

in 1961 and was a homemaker

till returning to work in 1979

at Security Pacific Bank and

then at Bank of America until

her retirement in 1994.

Survivors include a sister,

Sally O'Brien, daughter, Faith,

2 sons, Keith (Gina), and Scott,

5 grandsons, Joshua, Adam (Liz),

Randy (Jamie), Dustin (Jenna),

and Travis, 1 step granddaughter,

Bobbie Jo (Scott), 3 great

granddaughters, Madison, Alysha,

and Danielle, 3 great grandsons,

Declan, Connor, and Mason, 3 step

granddaughters, Bryanna, Amber,

and Kyndra, 1 step great great

granddaughter, Allison

Preceding her in death are her

parents, Edward and Theresa

O'Brien, grandparents, Mary and

William O'Brien, 2 brothers,

Edward Jr and Richard, Husband,

Elmer Snyder, 3 great grandsons,

Hunter Michael Snyder, Patrick

Joshua Smith, and Lincoln Justin

"Wings of the Angels"

A gentle wind blew across the land

Reaching out to take a hand

For on the winds the angels came

Calling out a mother's name.

Left behind, the children's tears

Loving memories of the years

Of joy and love, a life well spent

And now to God a mother's sent.

On angel's wings, a heavenly flight

The journey home, towards the light

To those who weep, a life is gone

But in God's love, 'tis but the dawn.
