Mary C. Rupp

She was born December 30, 1921 in Goff Kansas to Jake and Sophia Carpenter. She attended Marysville High School where she was voted most beautiful girl in her Senior Class. She graduated in 1939.

She married Merlin F. Rupp at St. Gregory’s Catholic Church on January 1, 1942.

She retired from Weber Aircraft Company in Burbank.

She enjoyed dancing, playing cards, and spending time with her family, and volunteered for over 20 years with the Burbank Senior Citizens program.

Survivors include her sons Stephen, Redmond, Oregon, and Gregory, Burbank, CA, Grandson Stephen, Wilmington, North Carolina, Granddaughters Jeannine, Wake Forrest, North Carolina, Jessica and Madeline, Burbank, Ca, and Sister Marjorie Meinecke, Overland Park Kansas.

She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter Marylin, husband, and siblings Charles, William, Dorothy and Benny.

A funeral mass was held in her honor at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Burbank, CA on 12-11-13.where she was eulogized by her Granddaughters Jessica and Madeline.

Interment will be this spring at St. Gregory’s Cemetery, Marysville.
