Pat was born Feb 9, 1940, in Pasadena, California to the parents of Reginald and Delores Schlemmer. She enjoyed many years as a girl with her brother and sister growing up at Indy 500 playing around while her dad worked on the race cars. She would beam with pride when she talked about her dad's accomplishments with his cars. They included his car being the featured car on the cover of the first Hot Rod magazine and holding the land speed record at Bonneville Speed Flats.
She was married to Joseph L. Cormier for almost 60 years. She would be so proud when she told people how long they had been married. She spent most of her married life in Tujunga California. There she helped her husband with the managing of the properties.
She is survived by her three children: Anthony (Tony), Thomas (Tommy), and Christina (Tina) Cormier. She has been blessed with many grandchildren and lots more great grand children. She loved and was protective of her grandchildren.
Pat loved to travel whether by plane, boat, or motor home with Joseph. She enjoyed many cruises of Hawaii, Italy, Caribbean, and many more places. Many summers they would travel in their motor home with the grandkids, to visit her husband's sister Pat and her kids: Teri, Charlotte, David, and Shirley and all of their families. These were very special times for her. Her favorite place the last several years was Las Vegas, especially at the Bellagio where she would love to spend time with her husband and grandkids watching the lights dance.
Pat was crazy about her three dogs: Tinkerbell, Mishell, and Littlebit. They were her constant companions and gave her great pleasure. You would always find Littlebit asleep next to her. She would enjoy buying fancy outfits for her to dress them all in.
