Beloved husband and father, passed peacefully Feb 1, 2011 in Richmond, BC.
Born April 14, 1929 in Shanghai, China, Alan was a successful self-employed businessman who showed humour and kindness to everyone he met. He raised his family in Prince Rupert BC where he was affectionately known as “papa” to his employees and friends in the community.
Alan is survived by his wife, Caroline, daughter Maria (Marc) and, son Daniel. He will be lovingly remembered by his seven brothers and three sisters, and their spouses; nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, other relatives and many friends.
Funeral service and internment will be held Feb 17 at 11am at Ocean View Funeral Home.
