Aldo Giovanni Bevacqua

It is with deepest sorrow and broken hearts, that we announce the passing of Aldo Giovanni Bevacqua on June 29, 2022 in Vancouver, BC, at his home, with his wife of 58 years by his side, at the age of 79. Aldo was born in Attilia, ( Maione) Cozenza, Italy on June 20, 1943.

He will be lovingly remembered by his devoted wife, Adelina and cherished children Alberto (Patrizia), Patrizio (Cynthia), Domenica and Paolo. He will be mostly missed by his grandchildren, Adelina, Rosa, Aldo, Lucas, Bianca, Dominic and is great grandchildren Aubrey and Capri. Aldo was predeceased by his father Alberto, his mother Domenica, his sister Lisa, his grandson Alfonso Bastone and many other relatives in Italy and Vancouver.

Aldo was a hard working man who dedicated his life to providing for his family. He had an enormous and generous heart who gave everything and expected nothing in return. Most known for his love of the outdoors, hunting, fishing, telling stories of himself growing up in Italy, and showing off his garden. His caring, loving manner will be truly missed by all.

A visitation will be held on Thursday July 14, 2022 from 6:00-8:00 pm at Bell Funeral Chapel 4276 Hasting St., Burnaby, Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday July 15, 2022 at 10:00 am at St. Francis of Assisi Parish 2025 Napier St., Vancouver.
