VANCOUVER – Alessandro Visentin passed away peacefully in his sleep on August 2, 2011, after a courageous and determined battle with his declining health. He is lovingly survived by wife, Margaret Elizabeth; sons David and Peter; three grandchildren, Pascal, Stefan and Brynna; daughter-in-law Hiroko Kagawa; sisters Carlina, Pia and Antonietta; sister-in-law Palmira of Treviso, Italy and the special nieces and nephews who loved him and will all miss him. ‘Sandro’ will always be remembered as a man for whom family, hard work and direct honesty were the cornerstones of life’s measure. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 am Monday August 8th in the sanctuary of St. Helen’s Parish at 3871 Pandora St. Burnaby. The family requests that, in lieu of flowers, consideration of a gift to St. Paul’s Hospital be considered in Alessandro’s name; their care for him was extraordinary.
