Dear Mrs.Moen and Family,

My thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time.  I am very lucky to have met Alexa and actually get to know her, as well as go to school with her for 8 years. We both went to Brentwood as well as graduate Alpha together, and we had the same EA in Elementary. Alexa will always hold a special place in my heart, and I will forever remember her. It is saddening to lose a friend, and my heart aches. However, I believe that she is in a beautiful and peaceful place, and is probably smiling down upon you. My greatest memory with Alexa is making spin arts with her in elementary. She will greatly be missed.

The Rose Beyond The Wall
Near shady wall a rose once grew, budded and blossomed in God's free light, watered and fed by morning dew, shedding its sweetness day and night.  As it grew and blossomed fair and tall, slowly rising to loftier height, it came to a crevice in the wall, through which there shone a beam of light.  Onward it crept with added strength, with never a thought of fear or pride; it followed the light through the crevice-length and unfolded itself on the other side.
