Alma Hill passed away peacefully, into the loving arms of her heavenly Father, on November 16, 2018. She was born in Poland on November 26, 1927. Alma was the oldest daughter of Josef and Wanda Schindell.
She was predeceased by her parents, Josef and Wanda, husbands Ed Riench and Ewald Hill, sister Johanna, brothers Alfred and Erwin and granddaughter Tabitha. She leaves to mourn her son Alfred (Elvira) and sister Melita (Walter) Mohr.
Also, grandchildren Patricia, Harley and Candice, several great grandchildren and many nephews, nieces and friends. Alma arrived in Canada with her parents in 1949 and settled in Manitoba. Later in life she moved to Vancouver. Alma resided at both the Salvation Army Vancouver Southview Lodge and Royal Arch Masonic Home where she made many friends and received excellent care.
She maintained a strong faith in Jesus her Savior to the very end of life. A celebration of her life will be held on Monday, December 10th at the Forest Lawn Funeral Home at 1:00pm.
