On Sunday, June 22, 2014, Mrs. Amelia Caravaggio of Burnaby passed away peacefully with her family by her side at the age of 76 years. She will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed by her husband of 57 years, Eusebio “Eddy”; her children, Ivana (Robert) and Riccardo (Paola); grandchildren, Mark, Brittany, Kiara, and Angelica; siblings, Orlando (Esterina) and Adele; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Amelia was predeceased by her parents, Nicola and Teresa; siblings, Eufemia (Joe) and Renato (Lina); and brother-in-law, Amerigo. A Prayer Service will be held at 7:00 pm on Thursday, June 26, 2014 at St. Francis de Sales Parish, 6610 Balmoral Street, Burnaby, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:30 am on Friday, June 27, 2014 with entombment to follow at Ocean View Burial Park’s South Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, donations in Amelia’s memory to the Alzheimer Society of BC would be greatly appreciated.
