Ana Pavicic

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Ana Pavicic,

peacefully at the age of 98.

Ana was born in Pavicici, Croatia on December 28, 1924 and passed

away in Richmond, BC on August 11, 2023.

Ana married her husband, Ivan in 1941 and together, they came to

Canada in 1970. She worked at The Royal Hotel in downtown

Vancouver. Her retirement years were devoted to cooking and baking

strudel and many Croatian pastries for her family. She grew beautiful

roses and vegetables in her large garden. Ana enjoyed getting her

hair done and annual photos with Santa and her doting

granddaughter, Christina.

Beloved mother of Barbara (Mike Pavlic). Ana will be deeply missed

by grandchildren Ron (Nancy), Michael and Christina. She was a

devoted great grandmother to Gracie and Lincoln.

Church on August 23, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. Entombment at Ocean

View Burial Park, Burnaby (South Mausoleum) at 1:00 p.m.

The family thanks friends and family around the world who sent

condolences and support for our dearly missed mother, grandmother

and great grandmother. Baka, you will be forever in our hearts.
