Ms. Angelina Mo Ching Chan

Beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend.

It is with profound sadness that the family of Angelina Mo Ching Chan announces her passing on October 21, 2025 at the age of 87. Born in Hong Kong on July 29, 1938, Angelina was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She dedicated her life to her family, and her love and support were a guiding force for her children.

Angelina worked as a Registered Nurse for many years in Hong Kong and also at various hospitals, senior homes, and provided private care in Vancouver when she immigrated here in 1968. She had a passion for floral arranging which later became a home-based business where she provided services for weddings. Her home was always filled with warmth and laughter as she brought happiness to her family.

She was pre-deceased by her late husband, Peter Bong Yin Chan, who passed away on January 29, 2013. She is survived by her older daughter Helena, son-in-law, Swee Hoe, granddaughter, Leighton, and younger daughter, Virginia, two younger sisters, Sylvia and Stella; and a wide circle of friends who loved her dearly.

A funeral service will be held at Ocean View Funeral Home at 4000 Imperial Street, Burnaby, BC at 10am on Monday, November 17th, 2025. A viewing will be held on Sunday, November 16th, 2025, at Ocean View Funeral Home from 4pm to 6pm. If any of you would like to contribute flowers or wreaths for my mom, please have them delivered on Sunday, November 16th, 2025 to the funeral home between 9am until 2pm.
