Anthony Aldo Arduini passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family, on Saturday, November 29, 2025, after quietly fighting brain cancer for 15 years.
Anthony is survived by his sweetheart of 32 years, Kathy, with whom he recently celebrated 25 years of marriage. He is also survived by his son, Mateo; his daughter, Giuliana; his parents, Sante and Angela; his brother and sister-in-law, Dennis and Vanessa, and his nieces, Noemi and Ellis.
He will be missed by his father and mother in-law, Pat and Lena Manzi; his sisters and brothers in-law, Tina and Brian Beauregard, Donny and Madison Manzi; and his nephews and niece, Joshua and Lauren Beauregard, Jayson Beauregard, and Marco Manzi.
In addition, he is remembered by many members of his extended family, in Canada and in Italy.
Born June 11, 1975, in Vancouver, British Columbia, and raised on East Pender Street, Anthony carried the spirit of East Van with him throughout his life and never forgot his roots or the friends he made there.
He attended Our Lady of Sorrows Elementary School, Notre Dame Regional Secondary School, and BCIT, where he earned a Diploma of Technology in Marketing Management.
Anthony later returned to school, attending the Sauder School of Business at UBC while working full-time, and raising two small children with Kathy. Anthony found it very challenging to balance his family, work, and academic life during this time, and he was very proud of his commitment and self-sacrifice, which paid off when he earned his Diploma of Sales and Marketing Management, in addition to Marketing Executive and Sales Executive Certifications. His time pursuing education shaped his work ethic, and his philosophy of hard work, determination, and integrity led him to great success in life and in business.
As the President and owner of Industrial Steel Manufacturing (ISM,) Anthony took great pride in his work and the people he worked with. He led with respect and humility, treating co-workers like extended family. He loved ISM, and the steel industry and its people.
Anthony loved soccer and was a long-standing coach for Cliff Avenue and Burnaby FC. He enjoyed mentoring and developing young players, guiding them through soccer and life. Watching his kids play soccer was one of his greatest joys, and it offered a balance to his hectic work life.
Family was Anthony’s anchor and his greatest source of pride. He was so thankful that he had the opportunity to watch his son and daughter grow up to be kind, intelligent, capable young adults.
He was a natural entertainer and host, and together with Kathy, he made his home a gathering place for laughter, celebration, and belonging. He made the most of life, enjoying vacations with family and friends, lively conversations, shared meals of excellent food, great bottles of wine, and chilled glasses of good tequila.
Anthony dedicated himself to his family, his friends, his co-workers, and his community. A devoted husband and father, proud son, brother, and uncle, respected business leader, and friend to many, Anthony will be remembered for his smile, his laugh, his ability to talk to anyone about anything, and his way of making everyone feel welcome and valued.
He leaves behind a legacy of industriousness, generosity, and hospitality. He gave his time, advice, and resources without hesitation, and everyone who knew him knew they could count on him. His kindness, sense of humour, and big heart will continue to inspire everyone who was fortunate enough to know him.
Visitation will take place from 4-6pm on Sunday, December 7, 2025 at Bell and Burnaby Funeral Chapel, 4276 Hastings Street, Burnaby.
