It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother Antonia Racanelli on the morning of June 8, 2013. Born July 7, 1934 in Sannicandro, Bari, Italy. Predeceased by her loving husband Vito. Survived by her sons John (Olga), Philip (Diana), her daughter Marisa (Robert); grandchildren Carla, Stephen, Melissa, Michelle; sisters Teresa, Lina and brothers Nicola, Joe. Visitation for family and friends will be held on Thursday, June 13, 2013 at Bell and Burnaby Funeral Chapel, 4276 Hastings Street, Burnaby from 6:00 ' 8:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:00 a.m. Friday, June 14, 2013 at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church 525 S. Slocan St. Vancouver, BC. Entombment to follow at the South Mausoleum Ocean View Burial Park, Burnaby, BC. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimers Society would be appreciated.
