Betsy is deeply loved and remembered by her daughter Cheryl Po, her son Brian Duncan, and her son-in-law and devoted caretaker, Richard Po. She was a proud grandmother to Meranda Thiessen and Ryan Po, and a loving great-grandmother to Cole Thiessen, Faith Po, Grace Po, and Noah Thiessen. She is also lovingly remembered by Meranda’s spouse, Keith Thiessen.
Betsy knew there were many people who loved her, and that knowledge brought her comfort. She had an incredible memory, especially when it came to remembering birthdays and anniversaries, and she made sure those moments were always acknowledged. She was known for her kindness and her genuine ability to connect with others, making people feel seen and cared for.
Her family and friends will always cherish her thoughtful messages, whether they were simply to say she loved them or to share words of faith and encouragement. Her strong faith remained a source of comfort and peace throughout her life, including in her final days.
Betsy will be remembered for her warmth, her attentiveness to others, and the steady love she gave so freely. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
