

July 11th, 1951 ~ August 4th, 2012
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Bruce August Lauzon. Born, one of a pair, on July 11th, 1951 in Windsor, Ontario. Bruce leaves behind Cathy, his loving wife of 32 years, his beautiful daughters, Stephanie (Shane) and Jacqueline (Clark) and latest joy of his life, his granddaughter Madison and step-grandson Chase. He also leaves his brothers, Bob (Cheryl), Brian and Ken; his sisters, Victoria Peck (Greg) and Michelle Beetham (Cleo); brothers-in-law, Russell Pollard, Bill Macaulay (Rosemary) and Andrew Macaulay (Kim), and many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his parents, Arthur and Dorothy and his sister Susan Pollard. Bruce was a dental technician by trade and owned a small lab in Burnaby for many years. He loved sports and was an avid golfer which lead him to his retirement job at Westwood Plateau Golf Course. He also loved baseball. He played for Hy’s Cowboys and coached girls softball for the Burnaby Oakey’s. A Memorial Service will be held in the Chapel of Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 3789 Royal Oak Avenue, Burnaby, BC on Monday, August 13th, 2012 at 1:30 pm. A reception will follow in the Tea Lounge of the Funeral Home. As an expression of sympathy, a donation to Canuck Place Childrens Hospice would be greatly appreciated by the family.
