Bryce was a beloved and cherished grandchild, son, brother, nephew, cousin and friend who passed away, unexpectedly, at the Royal Vancouver Yacht Club on a beautiful, sunny Sunday. He was born in Vancouver, and graduated from Sir Winston Churchill Secondary School (2018), University of Victoria (2022, BFA) and British Columbia Institute of Technology (2024, Power Engineering).
He is remembered fondly as a quiet, soft-spoken, introspective, sweet, caring, kind, gentle, loving and respectful young man. He lived his life with authenticity and integrity, wholly and fully, embracing his passions with all his heart. He was grateful to have fostered many close friendships along the way on his life journey inside and outside of schools, and most recently as a power engineer at the BC Children's Hospital. He had many special memories of his time at the Vancouver Rowing Club as a junior and with the Vikes at the University of Victoria, and of all the times he managed to hang and connect with his many friends and family members.
Bryce will be laid to rest alongside his grandfather, his adoring Yeh-Yeh. He was a fine young man with an endearing goofy and fun side. May his brand of gentle and joyful light continue to illuminate our lives going forward.
Attire: Guests are kindly requested to wear summer casual, reflecting Bryce’s style, in respectful remembrance of his life.
