Byung In Choi, a beloved husband, father, and grandfather, left us on September 4th, 2024. He is survived by his wife of 56 years Hae Kyung Choi, his 3 children Elliot, June and Mark and his 4 grandchildren, Jordan, Rhys, Talia and Nicola. Born on November 16th, 1938 in Masan, Korea, Mr. Choi immigrated to Canada, first arriving in Saskatoon in 1968, then to London, Ontario, San Diego, CA, and then to Vancouver in 1986, seeking a brighter future for his family. His strong work ethic, provision and care for his family, involvement in the Korean church and passion for golf, shared among friends and family, were the cornerstones of his life in Canada. Mr. Choi’s warm presence and quiet disposition will be missed but fondly remembered by his family and friends.
