It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Candido Sidoni. Born in Italy in 1920, Candido passed away in Burnaby on May 20, 2011 at the age of 91 years. He is predeceased by brothers and sister; Marino, Tonino, and Teresa. Candido is survived by his loving family, wife; Maria, children; Lora (Mark), Valeria (Frank), grandchildren; Taryn, Lindsay, Gabriella, and Lorenzo. Special thank-you to Dania Care Home for their care and kindness. Prayers will be offered Wednesday May 25 at 7pm from St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 2025 Napier St. Vancouver where the Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday May 26 at 10am. Entombment to follow at Ocean View Burial Park, South Mausoleum. In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Children's Hospital Foundation.
