Christine passed away peacefully on May 1, 2024 at the age of 77. She was predeceased by her parents, En Phin and Agnes Lai. Christine leaves behind her sister Alice Wright (Erwin), niece Melanie, nephew Aaron (Liza), grandnephews Mathew and Joshua, grandniece Arya, cousins and many other family and friends.
Born in Seria, Brunei, Christine and her parents moved to Vancouver in 1967. She started a long and successful banking career with the Bank of Montreal where she worked until she retired.
Christine will be greatly missed by all that knew her. Christine loved her cats, mostly adopted from the SPCA. She was predeceased by Peanut, Pumpkin, Pudding, and Pancake. She leaves behind Peasoup, Porkchop and Pepper, all of whom are cared for by members of her Family.
