

In loving memory of Conrado “Conrad” / “Ding” G. Fajardo, who passed away peacefully on February 9, 2024. Our beloved Dad, Lolo, great-grandfather, uncle, friend, husband, and partner. Conrad was born on August 21, 1933, in Atimonan, Quezon Province in the Philippines. He was married in 1955 to Teresita Amon until 1985 and had four children. Conrad graduated from the University of Santo Thomas in Manila. He immigrated to Vancouver BC Canada in 1965, hired as a Professional Electrical Engineer for BC Hydro (IPEC). After his early retirement at BC Hydro, he moved to Toronto, Ontario, and worked for Ontario Hydro. After his career as a professional engineer, he went back to university to obtain his real estate license and became a successful real estate broker. He was charismatic, articulate, intelligent, and academically accomplished.
He will be lovingly remembered by his daughters, Theresa (Stu) Magee, Victoria (Mon) Gonzales, and Pamela (Ray) Cypher, his ex-wife, Tessie, his six grandchildren, Courtenay (Chris) Boyda, Ashleigh (Christopher) Gonzales Burnside, James Unger, Jenelle Fajardo, Rebecca Cypher, and Devin Cypher, along with his two great-grandchildren, Carina Boyda, and Carter Boyda. He will be dearly missed by his long-time companion and partner, Fe Noriega. His sisters-in-law, Zeny Fajardo, Mila Amon, his nieces, Editha Fajardo, Eleanor Fajardo Shirley, and Recel Fajardo Jardine.
He is predeceased by his daughter, Antonieta Fajardo Turner, his father, Francisco, his mother, Severina, his sister, Angelita, and his brother Manuel.
Funeral Services will be held at Ocean View Funeral Home and Burial Park, 4000 Imperial St., Burnaby BC on Monday, February 26, 2024 at 1:00 pm.
