Mr. Danilo Tessarolo

A man who was very passionate about his family and strong guiding light as Father, Grandfather and Great-Grandfather. Danilo was born June 6, 1928 in Torri di Quartesolo, Vicenza, Italy and passed away peacefully June 19, 2017 in Burnaby, British Columbia. He was predeceased by his wife Giuseppina; father Beniamino; mother Marina and brothers Vittorio and Ampelio. He is deeply missed by his sister, Maria Ancilla; son, Celestino (Lisa); grandson, Stephen (Carrie); grandson, Sean (Sunjeet); grandson, Christopher (Kristina); great-grandchildren, Kaitlyn and Brayden and Nieces and Nephews. He emigrated from Italy in 1954 as a Bricklayer and eventually settled in New Westminster, BC to raise a family in 1958. He enjoyed a working career of some 30-plus years at the MacMillan Bloedel New Westminster division, a hobby of raising cattle and horses and most of all his little paradise on the shores of Loon Lake, British Columbia. Prayers are offered at Holy Spirit Parish in New Westminster, BC on Tuesday, June 27th, 2017 at 7:30 pm followed by a Funeral Mass on Wednesday, June 28th, 2017 at 10:30 am at Holy Spirit Parish followed by final place of rest in Ocean View Burial Park’s section of Garden of Fortune, Burnaby, BC. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
