David passed away peacefully on July 9, 2022. Born in Port Moody on August 31, 1928, David was the youngest of seven siblings. David was a loving and devoted husband and father. He will be dearly missed by the love of his life, Elsie, to whom he was married to for 70 years. Also missing his love and presence, his daughters Dahlia Fung (Michael), Lindy Lim (Craig) and Cheryl Heath, grandchildren Jessica, Andy, Ashley, Mary, Kirsten, and Sean, great-grandchildren Mikaya, Delaney, Maeve, Austin, and Graham and many nieces and nephews. David was predeceased by his son-in-law Dick Heath, 3 brothers and 3 sisters. He enjoyed being the family photographer, developing his own photos in his darkroom. In his retirement, David enjoyed writing the family history and keeping in touch with family and friends by writing letters. He will be always remembered as a kind & gentle soul, and for being a true gentleman.
A Funeral Service for David will be held at Forest Lawn Funeral Home Chapel (3789 Royal Oak Ave., Burnaby BC) on Monday, July 25 at 10:00am-11:30am followed by the graveside burial at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
