Dennis Pietro Serraglio

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden death of Dennis Pietro Serraglio on Friday December 2, 2022 at the age of 61. Dennis is survived and will be sadly missed by his wife Michelle, his son Jeremy (Stephanie), his daughter Stephanie (Andrew), his sister Mary (Pietro) along with a large family, and many friends. He is predeceased by his father Angelo, his mother Rosette and his sister Louise (Dennis).

Dennis was many things, he was a husband, a tremendous provider, and a father with a strong love of family; he had an immense sense of pride for his children and the lives they had started to create for themselves. Always up for an adventure Dennis was a loyal and generous friend, quick to laugh, decisive, some might say a little stubborn. He was an avid sports fan with a sometimes misguided but never wavering passion for the Minnesota Vikings and the Vancouver Canucks. Dennis was a Renfrew Trojan, and BCIT alumni, a Vancouver Golf Club member and had a very successful career in Marketing. Dennis enjoyed predicting the weather, a good meal, a glass of wine, or a bet on a long shot. He always seemed his happiest sitting on a beach in Maui, beer in hand, engrossed in a game of crib, or walking the seawall in San Diego.

A service will be held at 10:00am on SaturdayJanuary 14, 2023 at St. Francis of Assisi, 2025 Napier Street, Vancouver with a reception to follow at the Burnaby Rugby Club, in lieu of flowers donations can be made to The Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada, (heartandstroke.ca).
