We were deeply saddened by the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother, and great grandmother on December 18, 2019. Doreen passed away peacefully at VG Hospital after a short battle with cancer. She was predeceased by her loving husband of 47 years, John in 1998. Doreen was born in Vancouver and spent all of her life living happily in the greater Vancouver area. She will be greatly missed by sons Gary (Robyn), Brian (Lori), Greg (Shirley), daughter Julia (Gene), grandchildren Vanessa (Tim), Aaron, Jason, Dylan, Ryan, and Chloe, and great grandchildren Olivia and Nikolai. Doreen’s great strength, fortitude, and sharp mind kept her living an independent life of her choosing, in her own home until the age of 90. Doreen showed great love and devotion towards her family. Her family’s love for her will hold a special place in their hearts forever.
