Eddie is survived by Linda, his children Sandra (Ari), Janet (Claudio), Ralph, Keith, Alex (Melissa) and his grandchildren Sami, Jake, Aria and Noah.
Eddie will be remembered by his siblings Ruth, Winnie, (Bing), Marie, Anna (Ed) and Harvey.
Eddie started his produce career at a very early age, working with his father and siblings at Tom’s Market on Robson Street, Vancouver. Eddie and his late brother Raymond, then opened Yen Bros. Food Service in April 1972.
Five decades later, Eddie was still calling on his produce suppliers on a daily basis. His contributions in the food service industry were vast.
Many say Eddie was a true produce legend in Vancouver and there will not be another like him.
His daily presence at the warehouse will be missed.
Some of Eddie’s favorites things were to keep up to date on all the sports teams via watching television, listening to the radio and reading the newspaper, and collecting caps and ceramic cups from around the world. Eddie loved to try all the new food trends.
