1947-2022
Ed passed away of a ‘natural death’ on the morning of Friday, September 16, 2022. Although his passing was sudden and unexpected, his family take comfort in knowing he passed very peacefully.
He is survived by siblings; Naomi Murao, Gord Oikawa, Bruce Oikawa, Warren Oikawa and their families.
Uncle Ed will be missed by his many nieces and nephews - all of whom held a special place in his heart.
By request there will not be a celebration of life but please take a moment to commemorate his passing in your own way.
Memory of Me:
I'd like the memory of me to be a happy one. I'd like to leave an afterglow of smiles when life on earth is done.
I'd like to leave an echo whispering softly down the ways, of happy times and laughing times, and bright sunny days.
I'd like the tears of those who grieve, to dry before the sun, with all of the happy memories that I leave when life on earth is done .
