To my favourite Aunt,
I am blessed to have had you in my life as my aunt.  One of my many fondest memories is sitting in the kitchen and having a gab session while you would whip up some baked goods for tea!  You were always there when advice is needed or just to lend an ear. 
I will miss you more than words can express and will cherish the memories. Rest in peace Aunty Eileen and we will find solace that you are now reunited with Uncle Sheng and with all our dearly departed.

Dearest Momo.

Thank you for all the little things you have done for us when we where kids and as adults. You will always be part of my earliest memories your openness, spirit, thirst for knowledge and can do attitude always shone brightly and  will always live strong we me.  It is very sad to have lost you to the Heavens but we will always carry  your spirit within us so we wont forget you.

Dear Chris, Cheryl and Sylvia
Your mom has always been a person who has opened her heart and generosity to all who ever needed help in anyway. 
Be it helping out /volunteer work for the community or just helping newcomers like me to Canada. Aunty Eileen will always be remembered for having a warm and genuine energy whenever you were in her presence. Always lending her ear and giving advice.
Thank you so much for being such a special person to all who had the chance to know you.

Dear Chum Family,

I am a teacher at Oakridge Montessori School. I had the fortunate privilege to get to know Eileen or Po Po as we called her, when I was a teacher at the sister school Legacy Leaders Academy. I’m very saddened to hear about her passing. 

I will always remember Po Po for her kindness, warmth and gentle nature. She had and will always have an irreplaceable part in our schools. Po Po had the best cutting and laminating skills I have ever come across. A bar she set high for not only myself but all of us teachers. Her meticulous precision was always greatly valued and admired! 

Besides this talent of hers, Po Po was so genuinely interested in me and my life when I talked with her. She made me feel valued and cared. It was a sense of warmth, that one does not encounter when talking with others very often. 

Her beautiful cards is also something I will never forget. I was very lucky to receive one!

I know the Oakridge Montessori children who had the opportunity to know her, treasured her presence. I very much wish my current students and future ones at Oakridge Montessori School, could have had the chance to know Po Po.

I wish each of you my sincere condolences during this very difficult time. May she rest in peace and your memories of her provide you with comfort.

Heartwarming smiles, delicious  feasts, generously kind and warm hugs: those are what comes to mind when I remember Auntie Eileen.  She hosted so many community events making her home a constant hub of activities. In fact I believe she hosted our welcome event when we first moved into the community in Pretoria. She made such an impact on so many. She will be missed!

Aunt Eileen was a family aunt without blood ties as she solely provided warmth, comforts and assistance to all of us who's parents were stationed in Pretoria at the Embassy of Republic of China, and allowed us settling in a new country much faster!
Even after the Chum family immigrated to Canada and our family moved back to Taiwan, she still "wrote" letters annually keeping us updated!
I was most fortunate to be Cheryl's age and went to school together, therefore spend many hours and days in the Chum family home and shop.

Too many fond memories that will exceed the maximum characters allowed, it will all be treasured in my heart💕!

Deepest condolences to the Chum family from General Fei Tang and family.
Eileen personally provided many assistance and comforts to all that were stationed in the Pretoria diplomatic community and their families from Taiwan.
Many memories shared and she will be very missed!

Your Mother Eileen is the most humble and endearing person whose kindness and love reached out to so many people. There was ever a smile that touched the hearts of those she knew and those she did not. Her abounding generosity always directed at the less fortunate. 

Our hearts and prayers go to the Chum family, at this time of their grieving loss.

All of Our hearts are deeply saddened, but only for short, as we know she is in the peace and comfort of our Lord.

On behalf of the Lee family (Sung , Yee Fin, Canning, (Ivan) and Liesly), our sincerest condolences to the Chum family.  You have all been such an important family to us all, back in South Africa until this day in Canada.  The Chums always looked after us in the early days in South Africa, and my dad always tells everyone that it is because of Mr and Mrs Chum that we have the opportunity to make a living in Canada.  I fondly remember Mrs Chum for her kindness to us Lee boys, the Fetes in South Africa, the meat pies and the incredible trip to the Kruger National Park(!)

Our prayers and thoughts with the Chum family at this time but we are glad the parents are together again and watching over all of us, as they always have.
