Erminia Finamore

Passed away peacefully on Thursday October 10, 2013 at Burnaby Hospital at 91 years of age. Beloved wife to the late Angelo Finamore (1992), loving mother of Carlo (Antonietta). Cherished grandmother of Amy (Jan), Angelo (Karen). A dear great grandmother of Harrison and Matthew. Predeceased by her brother Mario. Survived by her brother Victor (Carol), sister in law Zita, brother in law Natale (Emma) and nieces and nephews.

Erminia was born in Bagnoli Del Trigno, Isernia, Italy.

Throughout her life, she portrayed the values that were instilled in her upbringing. Erminia was a devoted wife, a loving mother and a special grandmother and great grandmother. Her joy of cooking, gardening, sewing, strong work ethic and devotion to family and faith was evident in all aspects of her life. Our memories of her will always live on in our hearts. The family would like to thank all the staff and friends at Kopernik Lodge for their loving care and support.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Kopernik Lodge, Heart and Stroke Foundation, or charity of your choice would be appreciated.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday October 15th from 6 to 8 pm at Ocean View Funeral Home, 4000 Imperial St., Burnaby. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 am on Wednesday October 16th at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church, 555 South Slocan St. Vancouver.
