Our Deepest condolences to All the family. I met Filippo through his boys , as I watched his grandchildren Brianna, Dylan, Julian, and Janina. Often  Filippo would come to collect the children with the biggest smile possible, and the children loved him dearly.. He was a wonderful person , kind , caring and often told me funny stories.  Rest in peace. Hugs to the family and cherish your many wonderful memories ❤️

To Cathy and your family, we are so saddened to hear of Filippo’s passing.  Such a wonderful man, always a smile, a twinkle in his eye, 
and his love for life.  Many happy memories from years gone by when we all lived so close to each other, the many dinners, good laughs, and  oh so much fun.  My parents Rino and Rita , neighbors Tony and Antonietta and Cathy and Filippo…oh what fun we all had.
Thanks for all the memories .  May you rest in eternal peace.
Unfortunately we are out of the country and cannot attend to say a proper goodbye.  Take good care of each other.

Hello to Cathy, Michael and Gianpiero and family.  I am so saddened by the news.  My heart goes out to all of you for your loss of Filippo.  He will be missed by many.  He had such a youthful exuberant love of life.  Always a kind word and a twinkle in his eyes. 

He was an inspiration.  As a young kid in high school, Filippo got me my first job.  He always checked in and made sure I was ok.  I learned from him that life is viewed as the glass half full .   His stories of his days working on Sunset Strip in Los Angeles, meeting the Hollywood movie stars in the restaurant he worked were awe inspiring.  He had met the celebrities and was so humble about it all . To us kids he was the celebrity. He had lived the dream, had the adventures.

A conversation with Filippo, even if the years had gone by picked up exactly where we had left off.  He was always so happy to see you,  always so comfortable and curious and wanted to know all about what’s going on with you. He taught the art of listening and the joy of the conversation. Looking back, Filippo  was one of the great men mentors in my life,  

Him and Cathy were wonderful friends to our parents Rino and Rita. Along with Tony and Antoinnetta, the six of them had so many laughs, so many adventures, so many good times.

I saw in him a wonderful father to the boys. He was always so supportive of whatever the boys wanted to do. Through the years he always was so proud of the boys and never shy about sharing that sentiment. He always loved to tell what the boys were up to and how they were doing.

Filippo always seemed timeless. Always youthful, full of curiosity and happy  energy. He was a wonderful man. He will be so missed.
