It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Filomena Baruffa (nee Contestabile) who passed away on June 30th, 2020 at the age of 82. A loving Wife, Mother and Nonna to her family; husband Loreto, children; Nadia (Michael), Corrado (Anna), and Paolo (Jennifer), grandchildren; Christian, Julian, Olivia, Eva and Nevaeh, as well as many nieces, nephews and friends. A public visitation will be held on Tuesday July 7th from 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm at Bell and Burnaby Funeral Chapel, 4276 Hastings St. Burnaby, BC. A private Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on July 8th at St. Francis of Assisi Parish with Fr. Eugenio Aloisio celebrant. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the BC Cancer Agency
